If you’re anything like me, you’re overwhelmed by all the political speak going on but are confused as to what is the truth.  Doesn’t it seem like everyone involved in politics has an agenda?  It’s left against right, Republican against Democrat, Conservative against Liberal, Blue against Red, Rich against Poor.  Ironically we’re all on the same team, but today’s politics has become so divisive, I thought there is a LOT of space in the middle for a blog like this one.  I want to do my part to bring people to a political center.

I’m also taken back by the vigor and rudeness that people direct towards today’s political leaders and blame certain individuals on both sides of the aisle as though it’s any one persons fault.  In my humble assesment, it’s the degree to which politics has digressed and the attitude of the people that WE have elected to represent our interests that needs some centered commentary.

A patriot is defined as follows; a person who loves, supports, and defends his or her country and its interests with devotion.

A tribune is a person who upholds or defends the rights of the people.

The purpose of this blog is to bring people together that love and support their country with devotion and to uphold the rights of the people.

We will do this and we expect that those of you that choose to get involved will participate with integrity, patriotism, honesty, truth, fairness and in a spirit of unbiased and respectable teamwork.  Ok, I’ll say it…  and Love.

I will also add that not unlike the foundation of the United States, we will also be founded on the premise that there is a God.
